The Wisconsin River weaves from the northeast corner of the state to the southwest, where it meets the Mississippi River. It connects many lakes and flowages in the Northwoods, and runs through the center of Tomahawk. In the Tomahawk area, the Wisconsin River’s levels are regulated by the Kings Dam on the east side of town. Many fishermen find the water below the dam to be a fishing hotspot. Endless recreation awaits in these historic waters!
