STAR Splash 2022 - Saturday, January 8, 2022, you're invited to join us at The Happy Snapper for the annual Tomahawk STAR Splash. Jumpers will plunge into the icy waters of Lake Mohawksin to raise funds for their chosen charitable cause and the Tomahawk STAR Foundation.Saturday, January 8, 2022, you’re invited to join us at The Happy Snapper for the annual Tomahawk STAR Splash. Jumpers will plunge into the icy waters of Lake Mohawksin to raise funds for their chosen charitable cause and the Tomahawk STAR Foundation. Jackie Leonhard, the broker/owner here at Northwoods Community Realty, is very passionate about the STAR Foundation, and she has sat on the foundation’s board for nearly ten years. In addition to being a major STAR Foundation donor and promoter, Jackie also jumps in the ice cold water each year!

This event raises money for the STAR Foundation and many other area non-profit organizations. Funds are raised when sponsors pledge their favorite jumper or team. There are also many gift baskets from local contributors that get raffled off. The fun begins with raffles at Noon, then the STAR Splash at 2:00. The Tomahawk STAR Foundation serves the Tomahawk, WI area by acting as a community chest for businesses and individuals by making charitable grants to community groups, clubs and non-profit organizations that contribute to the health and vitality of our area. Tomahawk is a generous community! Many of its businesses, families, and community members have found that by making a tax-deductible contribution to the STAR Foundation they are able to support area organizations with one gift, rather than making multiple donations throughout the year. The Tomahawk STAR Foundation provides support to groups and/or organizations when they need it. Since its inception in April 2004, the STAR Foundation has donated more than $400,000 to local community groups in both general and restricted contributions. And, of course, they host the annual STAR Splash!
