Timm’s Hill Drone Aerial Views
We had a chance to take the drone up to Timm’s Hill recently, and we got some really great aerial views. Timm’s Hill is the highest point in Wisconsin, reaching 1,951 feet above sea level. From the top of the observation tower, when the weather is clear, you can look southeast and see Rib Mountain – 44 miles away. The surrounding hills are great for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hunting and more. Nine miles of looping rails take you through the park, connecting to the National Ice Age Trail and Rib Lake Trails. The hill can also be accessed in winter by snowshoes, cross-country skis, snowmobiles, and winter ATVs/UTVs. This area’s pristine, scenic beauty is always refreshing to take in. We’ll have to get back there this Fall to get some more photos when the leaves change!
